Thursday Threads - Ave & Ash
4/13/2017
The sun graced us briefly with its presence this week and the girls were so excited to head to the beach for a little family time. I took the opportunity to put on their adorable new Ave and Ash tops, and Mon Petit shoes to shoot some photos for y'all.
These outfits are one of my favorites right now and we are getting so many compliments on these Ave and Ash tops. They are quality handmade pieces that are so stylish. I have been eyeing Mon Petit shoes since last year and goodness are they so darling. Made with super soft leather the girls are so comfy in them and love wearing them.
I am greatly looking forward to the weather warming up and more days like this one. I can't wait for the girls to get more use out of these darling outfits and all the memories they will fill the threads with. Chances where you are the weather is starting to change and you are already in cooler clothing and I won't lie, I'm feeling pretty jealous at that thought.

A sister room full of special moments.

Incase you missed it my sweet Lilly and Piper are now sharing a room, and goodness is it adorable. I love ending my days listening to them giggle and get along, because reality is I currently listen to them fight 90% of the day. I can't wait to show you the full room, it is probably my favorite room right now but until its finished (notice a dresser with no knobs) I am popping in to share the wall of memories.
I have been looking for a way to display Instagram photos in the house and Tiny Mighty Frames was kind enough to send me some of their white frames. Life isn't professional photos and while those are lovely in their own way, I really wanted to look around our house and be reminded of the memories we make on a daily basis and these little square frames were the perfect way to do it. I put a majority of the frames in our hallway downstairs but I had a few left over to put in the girls room.
If you recognize the trees it is because this room used to be just Lilly, and you can see what it looked like before here. I can't wait to finish getting it decorated and and all the fun memories the girls will make together. I can't help but think about them as middle schoolers ready to have their own space back and cherish this time so deeply.
I hope to share the hallway gallery wall with you soon. Weather here in the PNW has made lighting a joke inside. But soon enough the sun will grace us with its presence.. right?

These would be great for a last minute Easter basket item, or just to enjoy through the spring as we watch those new spring babies run around. Number seven is a great touch and feel peek a boo book that is a absolute favorite in our house. It has the most gorgeous illustrations and I promise you won't be disappointed if you pick that one up.
Are there any books you love to read to your babes in the spring months? Let me know if you do, I know we are ALWAYS looking for books to add to our collection.

Thursday Threads - Declan + Crew & Piper Finn
4/06/2017
Hey guys, sneaking the last few hours of the day to get this Thursday Thread post up for y'all. I am so excited to spotlight these two small shops and I hope you fall in love with them as much as I have.
I snagged this Woke Up Wild romper from Declan + Crew for Piper. It doesn't fit her yet so I am having Lilly model it for y'all, also she is just so much easier to photograph. But back to the point. Piper is definitely my wild child and this romper was so true to her that I felt she needed it. Declan and Crew sells tons of cute kids clothing of course, but they also sell adult clothing. I defiantly have my eye on a few for myself.
With the romper I paired these adorable Piper Finn leather shoes. We have been eyeing this brand for probably a year and let me tell you, they do not disapoint. Their shoes come in so many cute colors and patterns but what I really love about them is that they offer hard soles as well as soft for your new walkers. We have the Mustard Oxford (pictured) and the Mustard Stripe Oxford for the girls and we get so many compliments on them. I defiantly want to add some neutrals to their collection as well.
I hope you enjoyed this outfit, and defiantly check out both Piper Finn and Declan + Crew. Let me know what your favorite pieces are and be sure to tag me in photos if you snag some goodies for your little or even yourself! But as the clock gets closer to Friday I should probably hop off here and get some sleep. Have a great weekend and thanks for supporting me.

Easter basket goodies that your kids will use.

It is the first time I am saying (okay typing) it out loud but I am moving our family towards a minimalistic lifestyle. This change really impacts holidays because I don't want to bring more useless junk into our home that I will have to purge in a few weeks. Minimalist or not I think most moms can get on board with that concept.
So I have been working really hard on coming up with ideas for the the girls Easter basket this year that we will get use out of.

See Kai Run shoes Peyton / Camilla |
After a cold wet winter I like to get the girls clean new shoes for Spring, or if you live in a warmer area some sandals would be a great idea. We love See Kai Run and this year we are stuffing these cute pairs into the girls Easter Baskets.

Plates from Area Creations |
Personalized plates from Arla Creations are a fun addition to Easter Baskets that you are sure to get lots of use out of.
Pajamas from Loved Baby |
As the weather warms up we get to transition to cooler pajamas so we grabbed these adorable Cactus short set from Loved Baby to put in their baskets. I can't wait to get these on them.

Tubby Todd bath products & Madly Wish underwear |
Bathtime goodies and some fun new panties/diaper cover are fun ways to fill their baskets with useful items. We are excited to try Tubby Todd on the girls, and I know they will be so excited about their matching undies.

books from BabyLit |
Books are my suggestion for basically everything. You can never have to many books. We are putting these Babylit books in the girls baskets and I know they will be so excited to read them with us.
We will also throw a few pieces of candy in their baskets, and some fun items from the Target dollar spot.
