Thursday Threads - Lucy and Leo

3/01/2017

This post contains gifted items for collaboration. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hey y'all! I wanted to hop on here and check in with you guys. I took an unexpected break from the blog last week while we dealt with some things at home. My husband has been very sick and without getting into details I will say things have been very scary as he has been in and out of the hospital. There is a fine line between wanting to be honest and authentic with all of you, but also having our privacy. But I did want to let you guys know I may be stopping in here less frequently for a little bit while we take care of Austin.
Today I did want to make some time to share a new small clothing company we recently discovered for a Thursday Threads post. Lucy and Leo is an organic children's clothing shop that gives back in a way that really touches my heart. If you know me in real life you know that I am very passionate about the Earth and how we treat it. So I think it is beyond amazing that for every item purchased from Lucy and Leo a tree is planted.

When scrolling through the site I literally wanted one of everything for the girls. I ended up picking out the Southampton Dress and the Greenwich Overall for them. I was impatient and styled them with some pieces we had laying around to photograph for y'all but I cant wait for the hot summer sun when they can rock them with nothing else.

Lilly's sweater is from Oshkosh and also styled here and her boots are Hunter.
Pipers shirt is Old Navy.
I cant wait to add more Lucy and Leo to the girls closet, especially some of their adorable tops and skirts. The overalls Piper is rocking are great for boys and girls and one of the great things about their clothing is most pieces are gender neutral. I try to share clothing not only for girls here and this brand is perfect for both boy and girl mamas! I would love to see how your child wears their Lucy and Leo, so be sure to tag me on Instagram in your photos.

Thank you for hanging in there with me, and I will try and be back soon.
