Farmhouse Style from Ikea

I am often asked where I shop for home decor and in all honesty my decor is a collection of many places but I do get a lot of items from the same few stores. I shop in many of the more obvious places but a lot of the things in our home are from Ikea. Yes, I know Ikea has a reputation for its affordable assemble it yourself furniture that some love and and causes others to cringe but there is so much more going on in that giant blue building.

While I love couches and chairs from Ikea (we own the Ektorp sofa, and Jennylund chairs) some serious farmhouse gems can be found in the decor area. We own the floral duvet pictured and I really do love it. It is our second Ikea duvet and they hold up so well. Not even Remingtons muddy paws have been a match for either duvet. They have adorable pillowcases, throws, and rugs to make any space cozy. We also own a couple of the pitchers shown that we use as vases. Ikea also has great lighting options, farmhouse sinks, and other upgrades to transform your home.
If you have an Ikea near you I highly suggest heading that way and snagging some of this super affordable decor to add that farmhouse flair to your home. Believe it or not we drive 3 hours for an Ikea and it is totally worth it for us. If you would like to see more of our home and how I decorate please be sure to follow along on Instagram and Facebook, and as always thank you so much for being here and supporting Little Bits of Us.
