A do it yourself artwork display for all those special projects.

11/15/2016

We have arrived. We are at that stage where we have artwork pouring out our ears, and I wouldn't have it any either way. I just know this is going to be one of those stages I desperately miss. The pride beaning from those sweet cheeks after the girls scribble all over a piece of paper. But a fridge can only hang so much, and I always knew I wanted a more permanent solution when we had a playroom.

Materials Needed:
Enough scrap wood for the size you want.
Chicken Wire
Stain (for wood)
Spray Paint (for chicken wire)
Staple Gun
Screws

We started with Austin cutting the scrap wood to the sizes we wanted so I could stain the pieces. I used some Rust-Oleum Kona that we had laying around. After it dried he used screws to hold the pieces together. I knew I wanted the chicken wire to be black so he also spray painted that and let it dry. When it was ready he used his staple gun to attach it to the back of the frame. He put a couple D rings on the top corners to hang it from and it was done. A quick, cheap, and stylish way to display art work.

What do you think? How do you currently display your little ones art work? I would love to hear from you in the comments bellow or chat on Instagram or Facebook.
