Pipers Room Tour

Hi! I hope you guys had the most wonderful Fathers day weekend. It flew by over here, I mean we were non stop. But it was a good one. Last week I also decided to take the week off blogging because it also was a busy one. We have started transitioning Piper to her crib, and Lilly decided to potty train. Two exciting things, but they have consumed most of my time.
But today I am so excited to share something I have been working on for the last two months. PIPERS ROOM! I know its over a year late, but second child problems. I also have found a huge benefit to procrastinating. I was able to decorate Pipers room around the things she loves... hedgehogs.

I ordered her crib and bedding when I was pregnant with her but that is basically all we did. The bedding was Mudhut from Target, and I don't remember where the crib was from. The beautiful sign is from Distressed Luv. I made the dream catcher and chalkboard tree trunk. To make the chalkboard I just bought the slab of wood off amazon and painted chalkboard paint on it. The flower garland from Enchanted Bow Shop, the floral blanket from Stella and Lu, and doll was given to my mom when she was pregnant with me.

Her changing table was given to us by my mom. She found it on the side of the road believe it or not. It is solid oak and a beautiful piece of furniture I will have a hard time ever parting with.  I gave it a quick facelift with some Annie Sloan chalk paint in Pure White and grabbed some new knobs for it from Home Depot. Her gorgeous white shelf was found at an antique shop when we went out for her first birthday and I love the character it adds to the room. Her hedgehog friend zone sign is actually a super cool Lightbox from My Cinema Lightbox that can be changed to say anything. The Hedgehog Print was made for her by So Sweet Design Studio.

We sold the glider we had from Lilly and snagged this old rocking chair for $10 at a thrift store. I eventually want to paint it white, but until then I love it just the way it is. Plus you can't beat the price. The Tassel Garland is from Jae To The Wall, the Floral Wreath is from Alison Michel, the Jane Austin Print is from Daisy and Decor, and the Hedgehog Hoop Art from Gav + Ro.
I love walking into Pipers room and it looking like an actually bedroom instead of a storage room. I am so in love with all the handmade details that made it so unique and I can't wait to add more over the years. It is hard to believe my little Piper Sage is already over a year old, and starting to sleep in her own room. Before I know it I will have two toddler beds in the house and no cribs.
