big changes, in a small amount of time.

I know things have been silent around here for a few months, and I am going to be completely honest. Life happened to me all at once, and I needed a few months to sort things out.

In September my sweet pup Midnight went missing, which has broken my heart.

But at the same time came some more exciting, but also shocking news. Our little family of three is expecting another baby. We recently found out it is another girl, and although we have decided on a name for her we are keeping it secret until her arrival.

I am due April 21st and am currently 17 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy is vastly different than when I carried my sweet Lilly. The first trimester I was so exhausted I could not find the energy to do anything. With Lilly I was so sick I was unable to eat a thing, while this time I am nauseous it is not nearly as bad. I have serious food cravings, food aversions, and headaches. Things are starting to ease up in the second trimester, which I am so thankful for. I can feel Baby P moving around much earlier this time, and I cant wait to meet her.

We also have some more exciting news to share... we are moving! It has come time for Austin to pick new orders again and we are thrilled to say we are returning (to my) home in Washington state. Lilly and I leave this weekend to spend two and a half weeks in Georgia with my grandparents, and will then be flying to Washington where Austin will meet us a few weeks later. Life will be crazy living with family while we house hunt, but we are so excited and thankful for the opportunity to put down roots for our children, and have people who love and support us close by.

  2. Congratulations on your new baby girl! How exciting! Poor Austin will be in a house filled with ladies hehe :) I hope your move goes really well. You should check out the aquarium in Georgia, it's the biggest in America. Lilly would love it! I hope you feel better soon so you get to enjoy the pregnancy. Shoot me a message some time. XOXO
