Lillys First Birthday Party

Today was Lilly's first birthday, and her birthday party. We were up till late last night getting everything ready for today's festivities and even though I was exhausted I just couldnt sleep. I had the anticipation of Christmas, because I was to excited to give to my sweet girl, and to be honest I couldn't wait to play with her new toys either.
I woke up early this morning before everyone else and laid in bed looking at pictures from her birth. I cant believe it has been a year since she was born, she has no idea how perfect she is, and I dont know how I ever found purpose before her. I heard her starting to wake up so I went into her room and crawled up into her bed and held her why I cried (mommies are allowed one melt down right?). A few tears later we started playing in her crib and laughing, and waking the rest of the house up.
We started with presents right away, a tune that carried throughout the day (he is just a little spoiled), and got ready for the party.
A little before two I had to wake her up from her nap to get her ready for the people about to arrive. She woke up in a great mood and ready to party - we had a blast. I am so happy with how everything turned out, and love how much fun she had. I made practically EVERYTHING for this party, down to her cake (which had me on pins and needles). So much work went into preparing for this day, but it was well worth it.
She was spoiled rotten, my house looks like a tornado of toys, and I am one tired mama, but here are some of my favorite photos of the day.
Lillys party theme was pink & gold cupcake.
The photo banner is her monthly sticker photos. I love how it turned out, and the photos will be shared later this week.

We had a pinata, bounce house, sprinkler, and baby pool to keep the kids entertained.
I am so glad they had so much fun.
Testing out the bounce house before the big kids arrived.
Opening presents with Daddy.
She is seriously SO close to walking.

  2. I love everything about this party! You did an amazing job!
Stopping by from the Let's Be Friends blog hop.
